Hello to everyone who is still following me. And.........sigh......there probably aren't too many of you, since it's been months since I've posted anything. I really don't blame you if you moved on, since this blog has been sitting at home alone waiting for it's master to return. Well.......I'm back, the lights are on and the oven is lit. It's time to get to work once again! It's been a LONG time coming, but I'm back and here to stay.
As mentioned previously, I encountered a financial nightmare brought upon by medical bills and insurance coverage that should have existed, but didn't at the time. LONG story short.....that nightmare is now behind me, and I can once again focus on the two things I love the most.......food and blogging. And, I don't want you to think that I am sitting in a wheelchair or totally out of commission. In fact, I'm running around like the energizer bunny bursting with energy and enthusiasm. When you are young and thrown a curve ball that temporarily throws you into reverse, it can be the things that nightmares are made of. Especially when you think your health insurance will cover it, and doesn't. Anyway........it's over and I'm back for good.
I've got a lot of photos that were taken during my absence, and will be putting those up with the recipes and stories that go with them. It took me a while to get motivated again, but I'm firmly cemented in place now (spun sugar experiment that went somewhat awry) and have no plans to leave.
To all of you who have stuck with me (me, myself and I.......only kidding.....I hope) thank you for your patience and understanding. I promise to make it up to you..........honestly.
