My Chocolate Chip Cookies Are Crowned "Splendidly Imperfect"

My friend's 10 year old daughter is a huge fan of my cookies, so when her class was holding a bake sale she called and asked if I could whip up 5 dozen chocolate chip cookies for their cause.  Of course I had to oblige, and immediately set to work.  She and her mother were popping by (what a coincidence) and would be over in a couple of hours. So cookie production began and I was just finishing up when they arrived. After hugs and kisses, I asked the usual questions about school, her new teacher and anything else that is "wicked" important in her life.  She told me they were learning about verbs, adjectives, nouns, etc., and that she was also taking a calligraphy course after school.  I was very impressed, especially since kids today barely write anything at all, let alone calligraphy.  Well, our visit came to and end and as they were leaving, Amanda told me she had left me a present.  She said that she had referred to my cookies in some of her homework, and had left me a sample to see. Well my friends, I must admit that she absolutely blew me away. On a hand painted stone she had expressed her true feelings about my cookies using two wonderful adjectives. I was absolutely speechless.  Getting a compliment like this...... is just priceless, and I believe that is the perfect adjective to describe just how I felt.
