I've mastered the posting part of blogging...........rather lame I must admit........but I've got to say a word or two about chocolate and how it rules my world. Over a third of my career has been spent in the chocolate industry, either employed by a chocolate manufacturer or a retail confectioner. I learned early on that once chocolate gets into your blood, it stays there forever.
As I moved from chocolate into the nut and spice industries, I always brought chocolate along for the ride. Inevitably a marriage would take place, joining nuts, spices and chocolates together in numerous harmonious unions. Some lasted..............and some didn't. One of my creations eventually made its way into mass production by a well known cookie giant, but alas, I never got the credit. Kind of sounds like real life........doesn't it......LOL But throughout it all, I have always approached most culinary challenges with chocolate in mind. Obviously you can't have your cake and eat it all the time, so the same goes with chocolate. I don't see chocolate macaroni and cheese on the horizon anytime soon, but who knows..........Stay Tuned.........
